Minstrel charm

I wanted to know which of the two charms to use with the minstrel, enthraling harmony or alluring melodies and if I can use some songs while I have a pet.

Enthralling Harmony is a castable charm, which only works on yellow mobs and doesn't consume one of the two song pulse slots.
Advantages: No song and you can even stealth while its up.

Alluring Melodies is a charm song, which works on up to red mobs (high RR) and that one consumes one of the two song pulse slots. Advantages: Up to red mobs and in case that you are mezzed/rooted and your pet isn't, you can cancel the song and your pet would hit you out of mezz/root.
