Hi,
I play void eld, looking for a template, what is pierce resist for?
Is it to decrease the resist from ennemies?
I hit energy, if I have 10% pierce resist, does that mean that my enemies will have 16% instead of 26% energy resist?
And does that stack if I use the debuff energy spell? I have the 30% energy debuff from 39 void spec
Thx
Imauwen
Pierce resist
Re: Pierce resist
Spell pierce will remove any item bonus resist %.
If your target has 10% total cold resists all from items, 10% spell pierce will result in the target having 0% cold resist.
If your target has 10% total cold resists, but its from only casted buffs, your 10% spell pierce will have no effect.
If your target has 10% total cold resist, 2% from items and 8% from buffs, your 10% spell resist will result in your target having 8% cold resist.
AFAIK, they do stack. You can go down the google rabbit hole with peoples testing on the specifics.
