In my opinion some things have to be competetive, either by optimal group setup or gear wise (temp). And this dungeon is a high-end dungeon and should be competetive. Making everything easy and suitable for everyone is socialism and might get boring quickly.

People will be able to do templates without these dungeon items and there are several "less competetive" places to farm, where you can get decent items for your template. I personally love that there is everything in Eden, you can even farm solo on a stealther and template yourself.

I was curious about this statement as I am a solo Ranger. At level 48 I have been farming various mobs but getting almost no drops usable by my class (I do have some very nice scale, leather and cloth drops ). Where would you recommend I farm for template items?

Visit the Throne Room in the capital city and the king will give you a set of Epic Quests that reward a very good full suit of armor. SI necklace quest is also good. After you can try to target farming named mobs based on their loot tables.

Yes they should be accurate. Best loot will likely be the Dragon, deep DF bosses, PoC, Epic SI dungeon.
