Hi I'm new here,
was wondering if anyone tried out a spec for melee scout or merce-scout. Something like 42 shield / 40ish weapon etc.
Any thoughts?
If yes any tips would be really appreciated, such as race, starting points, styles to use and so on.

As somebody who plays general melee, i think it would be very bad.
A pure S/S heavy tank with 50 1h weapon spec will struggle to do lethal damage in rvr. A scout in the 40's spec will struggle a lot harder and wont really have much of a role beyond being a fragile sub par damage dealer that can slam.
Being limited to small shields is bad also, and no parry will also hurt you in melee against dual wielders who will reduce both your block and evade rates by 25%.
